Around April 14th, 2016, a video was released by CNN, shot by Boko Haram; it showed 15 of the 219 remaining captive schoolgirls, alive and well! It was purportedly shot on December 25th, 2015, to prove that the girls are indeed alive, perhaps for the sake of negotiations. While it is still possible for this video to be false, they seem believable enough. Praise Jesus that these young women are still alive!!!
“African and American troops” have also come in contact with groups of the young Chibok girls, according to this article. While they have been found, the army is weary of rescuing only a few groups of the Chibok girls, for fear of retaliation from Boko Haram in the form of harming the girls. So, the girls remain in captivity, until the army can put together and implement a more complex plan to rescue all the girls, at once. Praise Jesus that these girls have been located!!! Please pray for their imminent and speedy rescue!
