Over the last seven days, the Bring Back Our Girls movement commemorated the third anniversary of the Chibok schoolgirls kidnapping, that happened April 14th, 2014. From passing out fliers one day and holding discussions another, to writing statements about the Government’s lack of freeing the Chibok schoolgirls, there was much done this week to demand the Chibok girls’ freedom, and to show that they are not forgotten.
This blog, ISAIAH 62 PRAYER MINISTRY,
has been blessed to stand “in the gap” for the Chibok girls’ release, praying intercessory prayer for these beautiful young women: that they might be filled with Hope, Joy, and Peace; that they would be provided for, protected, and guided to Christ; and that no one, including their parents, would lose Hope.
We prayed for their lives to be touched and transformed; we prayed for God to remind us of His Sovereignty, and to help us to trust Him.
The circumstances surrounding the Chibok girls, from the “outside,” seems like nothing has happened… but let us not grow weary of doing good (Galatians 6:9).
Today, ISAIAH 62 PRAYER MINISTRY is going to say a prayer of surrender to Christ, allowing Him to take the Chibok girls from our hands. Please join in.
“Dear Lord Jesus,
It has been the highest honor, to lay down our lives even for a few minutes, and spend time seeking You and speaking to You about the Chibok schoolgirls.
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for hearing every prayer written, said, and cried out.
Thank You for Loving us, and for wanting to know our everyday lives– and our deepest desires.
Dear Jesus,
One of our deepest desires is to see the Chibok girls be freed.
Please, see and hear this prayer, today,
and answer it in the way that only You can.
Please, continue to work and move on behalf of the Chibok girls;
we surrender them, this week, to You.
Thank You for showing us that Your Hands are capable, and that we don’t need to fear.
In Jesus’ Name I pray,
Amen.”
Thank you for your prayers, this week. Let’s see what Jesus will decide to do, next. ❤
