On Sunday, a migrant walked into Burnett Chapel Church of Christ in Antioch, Tennessee, and shot 8 people. One of them, a woman named Melanie Smith, was killed in this barbaric event.
Without politicizing it, will you pray with me for each person who has been affected by Church shootings, like this one?
“Dear Lord Jesus,
We know these are the end times. We know that violence was prophesied to be apart of these end times (Matthew 24:12). But knowing this does not take away the hurt, Lord Jesus.
Dear Jesus,
We pray in Your Name over every single person affected by this church shooting, and church shootings such as these. Please bring these people to know You, if they do not already.
Father,
We beg of You to redeem even this event, and use it for Your Glory. Comfort our brothers and sisters in Christ.
In Jesus’ Name we pray,
Amen.”
