ISAIAH 62 PRAYER MINISTRY

As of January 4th, 2018, it is my pleasure to report that CHIBOK SCHOOLGIRL, SALOMI POGU, ESCAPED FROM BOKO HARAM CAPTIVITY WITH THE HELP OF A FELLOW CAPTIVE!!!

18 year old Salomi Pogu was freed from Boko Haram after her, and a friend she made while in captivity, Jamila Adamu, aged 14, determined to escape. While the girls had tried to escape many times before (while never being caught), they succeeded in escaping when they left at 12 or 1 o’clock in the morning, making a run for it from their settlement to a soldier’s security post that, in terms of distance away from their settlement, “was not much” (source). Though the girls have little to nothing in common when it comes to religion and background, they became fast friends, who relied on each other for friendship and, quite possibly, the courage to escape.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for freeing both Jamila and Salomi!!! We praise You and we thank You for being such a good, good Father, a God who has saved us and wants to free us! 
Thank You for bringing these two young women together, in friendship. We pray that as they have now become physically free, You would bring the both of the girls into a personal relationship with You if they do not have one, already. We pray they would believe on You, as Lord and Savior, and that as they both seek You, You would bless them. Thank You for this, Lord Jesus!
