On April 23rd, the parents of Chibok schoolgirls got into a car accident; one parent of a Chibok schoolgirl was killed, and 17 injured. The accident happened on the way to visit their daughters and to attend a meeting regarding their schooling.

I don’t mean to overspiritualize things; but the first thing that came to my mind was this: “If this is not spiritual warfare, I don’t know what is.”
While not everything is spiritual, it is important to see things with spiritual eyes, always looking at contemporary issues through the lens of the Word of God. Ephesians 6 says, “Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand” (Ephesians 6:12-13, NIV).
It is important that we realize that we have an enemy of our souls; but not so much that we are afraid of our enemy. Jesus won the war on sin and death (1 Corinthians 15:55-57).
Please pray for these women and their families. We have an enemy who is against these girls and their families knowing the Truth and healing that is in Jesus Christ. May Christ show Himself strong for these women and their families!!!
Do you know Jesus?
Many people have a nihilistic view on life: nothing happens for a reason, and nothing truly matters. But there is a Loving, Compassionate, Righteous God who would say otherwise.
