Tomorrow, June 12th, 2018, US President Donald Trump is meeting with the Supreme Leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, 9am on Tuesday in Singapore, which is 9pm Monday in Washington DC1.
No matter how you might feel about President Trump, I think we can all agree that this meeting with Kim Jong-un is monumental, and is something President Trump needs support and prayers for. After all, this meeting could mean the difference between war and peace for those in the next generation.
We all know that Jesus is coming back one day; and until that day, things in this world will only get worse and worse, as passages like 2 Timothy 3:1-5 state. The role of the United States of America in that whole debacle is unknown, as the Bible does not mention a country like the USA in its descriptions of the end of the world.
However, the US is still standing; and if we turn towards Christ and change our ways to honor and glorify Him, He will bless this country.
With all of this in mind, please pray with me for President Trump’s meeting with Kim Jong-un. I know I have done many short prayer posts recently; but it is too important to not lift up to Jesus. After all, He is in control, even of some of the most powerful people in the world: “The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the LORD; he guides it wherever he pleases” (Proverbs 21:1, NLT).

“Dear Lord Jesus,
We thank You, and praise You for being totally in control of all things. We pray now, that You would prepare President Trump to meet with Kim Jong-un; please prepare both of their hearts and minds to meet together, and, if it is Your Will, please let the meeting turn out favorably for the USA. Please keep President Trump safe; and please ultimately give the freedom of those in North Korea, suffering endlessly.
Thank You, Jesus.

- President Trump, that He would make God-honoring decisions, and would be prepared to meet with Kim Jong-un.
- Kim Jong-un. May He realize He is only man, and come to saving faith in Christ Jesus.
- Those in underground churches in North Korea. Pray that they would be kept safe, and would be bold in their Love for Jesus.
