While I put up the names of, and honored, those who were killed in the Pittsburgh Tree of Life Mass Shooting, I have not put up the names of the valiant officers that helped save and secure so many in the situation.
They are:
- Daniel Mead
- Michael Smidga
- Anthony Burke
- Timothy Matson
- John Persin
- and Tyler Pashel
These brave men risked their own lives and came out of the situation as heroes. Unfortunately, there are some in critical condition.
As we go about our days and weeks, let’s let our officers know that we thank them for their service. May those hurt and killed in this horrendous act of hatred be remembered and cherished.
