Prayers for Alabama

Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.
(Romans 12:15, NIV)

It is with much sadness that I report about the many tornadoes that twisted through Beauregard, Alabama. At least 90 people have been injured and 23, including four beautiful children, have died.

Things like this are a complete tragedy. Would you pray and mourn with me for these people who are deep in mourning?

“Dear Lord Jesus,
We come to You, filled with sadness over all of the loss had in Beauregard. We pray over each parent who is missing their daughters and sons tonight, and over every family member and friend who is mourning the loss of their loved ones. Thank You for the aid that has been sent to Alabama; we pray that You would lead and guide Your worldwide Church on how we can love, support, and mourn with our brothers and sisters and those who don’t know You.

In Jesus’ Name we pray,
Amen.”

This post is dedicated to the four children who have passed in these tornadoes: Mykala Walden, AJ Hernandez, Taylor Thorton, and Jonathan Bowen. May they rest in Peace.
