Update on Leah Sharibu:
According to Legit.ng, Leah’s mother, Rebecca, has stated that she has full hope that her daughter is not dead, and will come out of Boko Haram captivity alive. In case you haven’t heard, Leah Sharibu was kidnapped by Boko Haram on February 19th, 2018 with
approximately 100 other young women. The rest of the women were set free after converting to Islam; Leah refused to recant her faith in Christ and was left behind in captivity because of it. In recent days, reports have gone out that Leah had been killed in Boko Haram captivity, but these reports are unconfirmed.
I truly admire the amount of hope and confidence Rebecca, Leah’s mother, has for the fate of Leah. No one knows where she is truly at, but we know that our confidence is not to be put in situations and circumstances, but in the Lord.
May Rebecca, Natha (Leah’s father), and the rest of Leah’s friends and loved ones not give up hope. Whatever has happened, Jesus is still on the throne. May that give peace to all who are worried.

Please pray for…
- Leah’s parents, Rebecca and Natha. May they never lose hope and confidence.
- Leah Sharibu herself. May she be freed soon, and safely.
- The Nigerian government, that they would take finding out her whereabouts seriously.
- The Nigerian military, as they continue to fight Boko Haram and ISWAP (Islam State’s West African Province).
Thank you for your prayers!!!
