Over Labor Day weekend alone, 43 people in Chicago were shot—and 8 died. This was not a mass shooting, but rather at least 20 different shootings between gangs, drive-bys, and other violent situations.
Unfortunately, Christ said that the world would only grow more violent, and He is right.
These people need help, as they survive terrorism in the USA. The answers to this problem of violence is complex; I don’t want to seem like it isn’t. But, at the end of the day, it is JESUS who is the answer to all of this violence and loss. Because of this, please pray with me that the Church would reach out to those hurting all over Chicago, and that Jesus’ Love and Mighty Power would be seen in each and every life in Chicago. Thank you.
Do you know Jesus?
Through Christ, peace was made between God, man, and the relationships between different races of human beings (Ephesians 2:14). He is truly is the answer to our problems and conflicts.
