On Christmas Eve, in a small town called Pemi, those in Nigeria celebraing the birth of Christ were ambushed, slaughtered, and kidnapped by Boko Haram. 7 people were killed; 7 people were abducted, including a pastor from the small town (source).
It breaks my heart that these brothers and sisters are undergoing such pain and anguish. I want to help out, and wanted to see if anyone else would want to help as well.
These people, first and foremost, need our fervent, committed prayers. After this, they need to be supported practically through financial means. It is with this in mind that I reccomend both Voice of the Martyrs and SIM USA to give to. They work directly with those in Nigeria and seek to give relief, both practically and spiritually.
I am confident about these nonprofits. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. Thank you for your support in prayers and giving!
Do you know Jesus?
John 3:16 starts out with: “For God so loved the world, that He GAVE…”. Learn more about how God gave to us, here.
Please pray…
- For those whose loved ones have been killed by Boko Haram and Fulani Herdsmen.
- For protection, safety, and peace for those in Northern Nigeria, and all over Nigeria.
- That the evil behind Boko Haram and Fulani Herdsmen would be stomped out in Jesus’ Name.
- That those in Boko Haram or groups of Fulani Herdsmen would come to know Christ.
Thank you again for all of your prayers and support!
