A 2021 Post

Hey friends,
First and foremost, I want to thank you all for your support and prayers. Whether it’s over something personal, or something related to Nigeria and the Chibok girls, or anything in-between, knowing that you see these posts and pray mean the world.

Unfortunately, I usually find myself getting burnt out on writing about these things, especially when they are depressing in nature. I would be remiss if I didn’t do this, though. All too often, I come at writing for this blog from a purely “religious” standpoint– checking it off of my list of to-do’s and feeling like God Loves me more for writing and “being on top of things.” It sucks all of the passion and joy out of writing when I do so with such a motive.

I am learning, more and more, that Jesus wants, not my perfect behavior, or even my good works, but rather my heart. My love. This is what I hope to bring into 2021 as I continue to write for this blog.

Please keep me in your prayers as I seek to love and care for these people, both practically and spiritually. There may be some changes made to the blog, but I am not sure of that yet. I’ll be sure to update you all if any changes are made.

Again, thank you all for hearing my heart. I hope this beginning of 2021 comes well for you.

With Love, in Christ,
Annalee, ISAIAH 62 PRAYER MINISTRY
