Last night, as I was watching a TV show, something both amaingly clear and yet profound came to mind: Prayer is effective.
“Annalee, you have a Christian prayer blog… shouldn’t you know this?” I can hear you guys say. And you’re right– I should be the first one to truly believe in the effectiveness of prayer. But I end up praying without this truth in mind: knowing that Christ hears me, but forgetting His Great Power to do something with those prayers.
So this afternoon, I wanted to do something different. I want you all to comment your prayer requests, and/or the ways Jesus has met those prayer requests with His Awesome Power. Children have been freed, people have been healed and strengthened, and even my mother is doing very good, despite her recent circumstances. Let’s get together and celebrate the reason behind the effectiveness of prayer: that we have a Holy, Powerful, Loving God that they are going to.
