Friends,
I got an email today that was hard to read, yet relieving.
It has been discovered that Leah Sharibu, a young Nigerian Christian girl– one who was kidnapped and not released for refusing to recant Jesus’ Name– has now had two babies with those who have held her captive.
When it was reported that she might be dead, I had a deep, deep grief. So, even though she is still in captivity, there is always hope as long as she is alive.
I got this most recent email on her updates from the ACLJ, or the American Center for Law and Justice. They work passionately to make sure persecuted Christians are heard around the world, especially in the Middle East and Africa– where hundreds upon thousands of people are held captive and killed because they love Jesus.
They have two petitions that I would like to share with all of you, in hopes that these petitions can catch the sight of governments in the US as well as Nigeria. You can sign them here and here.
Thank you, friends, for your continued prayers and for reading these blog posts. You are all blessings!
In Christ,
Annalee, ISAIAH 62 PRAYER MINISTRY

- Leah Sharibu, that she would be released, with her children, soon.
