This is interesting, but hard to understand. Apparently, artists in Nigeria are gaining more and more influence, and are selling their art with cryptocurrency.
Why does this matter? It matters because Nigeria is not all war, terrorism, and faulty government! There are beautiful things coming from Nigeria– a place most people see as cursed.
Aren’t our lives that way at times? They feel cursed and we feel oppressed, yet beauty comes from those ashes. Resolve, resiliency, and victory come from our struggles, and Jesus uses the most painful things, things with seemingly no value, and makes us His Masterpiece, His Poem.
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
(Ephesians 2:10, NLT)
The worldwide Church is God’s masterpiece! I don’t mean to go on and on like this… but to see a wonderful flicker of life in these pieces of art, by Nigerians, fills me with hope. May these artists know the Artist, Jesus. And may they continue to create beautiful works of art that fly in the face of ugly sin found all around Nigeria, especially Northern Nigeria. 🔹
