I have unfortunate news: in the country of Cameroon, Boko Haram militants have been entering and ravaging cities, shooting indiscriminately and killing the innocent in their wake.
This occured into the morning of Saturday, November 7th, 2021. Two people were killed and four were wounded by Boko Haram terrorists. And while they are being fought, they are still creating much pain and destruction.
These terrorists bring confusion and destruction into the lives of seemingly random people– and of course they do, for the enemy (the devil) is the one who brings confusion and makes it his agenda to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).
But we have a very powerful weapon against this enemy, both physically and spiritually: prayer. Will you pray with me for those who have lost their loved ones to Boko Haram, and for Boko Haram to be abolished?
“Dear Lord Jesus,
Sometimes we don’t understand why some things happen. We hurt and grieve over those who are losing their loved ones, espeically our brothers and sisters within the worldwide Church. We pray now that You would abolish Boko Haram, and that You would bring peace and joy to those who have known nothing but sorrow in this life.
In Your Name we pray, amen.”
