Friends & Followers,
I ask that you would please pray for the church of Calvary Chapel Ridgecrest. Their pastor, Levi Woodhouse, was killed in a car accident on their way to serving at Calvary Chapel Jerome in Idaho.
His pregnant wife sustained major injuries, but it looks like her and their child will be okay.
This reminds me of when I lost my Pastor and his wife, Scott and Nancy Cox this summer. The grief is tangible.
But while we grieve, I remember these verses:
“ Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. 7 For we live by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.”
2 Corinthians 5:6-8
His brave wife is relying heavily on the Lord and on loved ones. Read more about their story here, in Calvary Chapel Magazine.
May the Lord be with his family, friends, and loved ones.
Do you know Jesus?
Levi is with his Maker now. He is only able to do this because he accepted Christ as His Savior. Interested to know what that actually means? Click here to learn about Jesus.
One response to “Losing Levi Woodhouse”
My prayers and heart goes out to the Family. I served with Levi at Ft Carson. I had the pleasure of meeting his family when we had military leave we hit the road to Idaho. You have truly earned your wings my brother…R.I.P.
