“So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.”
(Acts 12:5, NIV)
One young man by the name of Shahzad Masih is suffering persecution for believing in and loving Jesus. The ACLJ, headed up by Jay Sekulow, sent an email to me about Shahzad, asking if we would sign the petition against persecuting children, as well as giving an opportunity to contribute a donation. My heart breaks for this brother; so I thought I would talk about him here, asking all of you to pray for him.
Please pray with me:
Father God, thank You for the boldness and commitment Shahzad has for You. Father, You never said this life would be easy, and we know that so many have passed away for Your Sake and have undergone grievous persecution.
Please comfort and strengthen Shahzad, and if he passes away from this persecution, welcome Him into Your Loving Arms Father. But we do pray that Shahzad would be spared, and that You would use his testimony in amazing ways.
Help us to remember to pray for him. In Jesus’ Name we pray, amen.
Thank you all for praying with me for Shahzad. Let’s continue to lift him up in prayer.
In Christ,
Annalee, ISAIAH 62 PRAYER MINISTRY
