The “Little” Victories

It is with great happiness that I am reporting the Nigerian soldiers have captured

not one, but two prominent figures in Boko Haram! Babagana Abubakar (aka Alagarno) was found January 10th with voter identification cards and military gear. A suspected military leader for Boko Haram, called Umar, was also caught on December 20th, 2018 (source). The capture of these two men is incredibly promising, as it shows even the “smaller” victories that the Nigerian government and military is making against Boko Haram!

Our God is a God who hears our prayers; this shows that while He hears our prayers, these “little victories” will happen in His time, not our own. And in the end, He has won for us the greatest victory of them all!

With these truths in mind, may we continue to lift up the Chibok girls, Leah Sharibu, and the Nigerian military! Our God is moving, even if we cannot see Him!

“Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for the victory that You have brought! Not only against Boko Haram, but for all who believe in You! You have brought us victory over the enemy and the grave, and we can live with Your Power in our everyday lives!
We now pray that You would move in this war between Boko Haram and Nigeria. Continue to give the soldiers morale and strength, and please keep those who are held captive safe, so that they may be freed and reunited with their loved ones!
In Jesus’ Mighty Name we pray,
Amen!”

Staying Faithful in Blogging

Hi Friends and Readers,
I wanted to ask for prayer, that my passion for these people and praying for them would not go out, but would instead increase. Please pray that, above all else, I would stay faithful to Jesus in writing as He leads. Thank you!

In Christ Jesus,
