Shootings. The murder of Gabby Petito. Natural diasters. Global terrorism.
I have been overwhelmed with how much pain is in this world, and have felt so ovewhelmed that I didn’t know what to write about… but I thought it would be best to just be honest.
I’m tired of writing about tragedies, yet that is what this blog has been based upon. I would be remiss if I didn’t speak about these things.
As I sit here typing, a Bible verse comes to mind:
“When I am afraid, I will trust in You.”
(Psalm 56:3)
When I am overwhelmed, I can come to my Savior, and recieve the rest and rejuvination I so desperately need. And that is what I encourage all of you to do today, as well. Amidst all the bad news, we have a God who has Good News for us: He sent His Son to die for our sins, so that those who believe could live with Him for eternity.
We have a refuge in this battle called life. And when we feel overwhelmed, we can run to Him.
Have a beautiful day.
In Christ,
