What with all of the political scandal going on– especially in the US—it is hard not to get discouraged and angry. The Bible calls this “fretting.” Continue reading
“For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers…” (1 Peter 3:12a)
Tonight, let’s just thank our Lord Jesus for all that He is doing and will do. What a mighty God we serve!
If you are in the middle of hearing a “wait” or a “no” from the Lord, trust that He is still good, and still hears you.
With Love, in Christ,
Last night, I came across a show called “Bob ❤ Abishola.” In the show, a man named Bob goes to a hospital, and while there, has a nurse who is a Nigerian immigrant named Abishola take care of him. He falls for Abishola—and that’s all I’ve watched so far 😊
This is way out of the ordinary for American TV, and I am excited to see how they portray Abishola and her Nigerian immigrant family. I wonder why they chose Nigeria; it will be interesting to find out. I pray that it actually sheds light on Nigeria and what is going on there, and that as the show portrays Nigerians, they would not just be seen as “another country from corrupt Africa.” Those in Nigeria are more than statistics—they are people, and I hope that this show allows watchers to see that.
THOSE IN NIGERIA ARE MORE THAN STATISTICS—THEY ARE PEOPLE.
Please pray with me, that this show is 1) culturally correct, 2) puts Nigerians in a good light, and 3) helps shed light on what is actually going on in Nigeria. Thank you, guys!
You can find “Bob ❤ Abishola” on CBS at 8:30pm.
(I was not sponsored or asked in any way to highlight this show. I’m just excited about it!!!)

I just wanted to shed light on this amazing resource, https://thefallen.militarytimes.com. It’s purpose is to remember each and every solider who has passed away in the line of duty. Just as this blog aims to honor, remember, and pray for those in Northern Nigeria (especially the Chibok girls), so their website aims to do the same for those in the military.
I encourage you to check them out and follow them here! This is in no way a paid endorsment or anything else of that nature; I just stumbled across the site on Facebook and thought it would be remiss to not mention it.
With Love in Christ,

Please pray with me over who will be the next prime minister (and government in general) over Israel! The election has been tied up. As 1 Timothy 2 says,
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior…” -1 Timothy 2:1-3
Israel is incredibly important to God, and is an essential part of His Plan for the end times. Let’s pray Jesus’ will would be done in this election and that all Israelis would know Christ as Lord and Savior!

While they are not taking their own lives, this Indian pastor has gone through a horrific axe attack for sharing the Gospel and pastoring his church. Though he has gone through so much pain, he says that it all just makes him want to do more and more ministry.
As I said before, let’s pray for our pastors. They need our love, help and support.
With Love in Christ,
Annalee, ISAIAH 62 PRAYER MINISTRY
